My Thesis Statement

The portrayal of autism through Temple Grandins mind is shown in the movie Temple Grandin. I will argue that the Temple Grandins successful career as a designer of humane slaughterhouse system is based on her unique abilities as an autistic. Autism was not a disability for Temple Grandin and in the end she worked through it and found ways to overcome it.

"Based on several sources, I will argue that the film _Temple Grandin_ is accurate / not accurate in its portrayal of autism [including its effects on her emotions, and human relationships, and outstanding visual abilities that have led to her success as a designer of slaughterhouses.]"

FIX THE ENDING PARTS BASED ON WHAT YOU FIND AND WANT TO SAY.

Don't turn this paper into a biographical report on the inspiring story of T.G. Instead, use research on autism to find what is accurate or not in this 'uplifting' Hollywood bio-pic.

T.G.'s story, sadly, is NOT typical of most autistics, many of whom do not lead 'normal' lives, much less become PhDs and prolific researchers.
